Commercial Information Circular No. 24/00

The Mainland of China : New Import Tax Policy for Foreign-Funded Enterprises

The Mainland Customs General Administration issued the attached notice on 22 November 1999, regarding new import tax policy for foreign-funded enterprises (FFEs). Duty will be exempted for the import of specified equipments by qualified FFEs for their own use.

2. The effective date of the notice is 1 September 1999.
