US : Antidumping and Countervailing Actions against Carbon and Alloy Steel Cut-to-Length Plate from the Mainland of China: Institution of Investigations and Scheduling of Preliminary Phase Investigations
The US International Trade Commission (ITC) announced in the Federal Register (FR) notice of 14 April 2016 the institution of investigations and commencement of preliminary phase antidumping and countervailing duty investigations to determine whether there is a reasonable indication that an industry in the US is materially injured or threatened with material injury, or the establishment of an industry in the US is materially retarded, by reason of imports of carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate from the Mainland of China that are alleged to be sold in the US at less than fair value and subsidised by the Government of the People's Republic of China. 2. Interested parties wishing to participate in the investigations should file an entry of appearance with ITC not later than seven days after publication of the FR notice. Written submissions should reach ITC on or before 4 May 2016. Besides, ITC has scheduled a conference in connection with the investigations on 29 April 2016 in which parties wishing to participate should contact ITC not later than 27 April 2016 to arrange for their appearance.
