Dear Sirs,

Commercial Information Circular No. 517/2015

US : Antidumping and Countervailing Actions against Certain Corrosion-Resistant Steel Products from the Mainland of China: Institution of Investigations and Scheduling of Preliminary Phase Investigations

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) announced in the Federal Register (FR) notice of 9 June 2015 the institution of investigations and commencement of preliminary phase antidumping and countervailing duty investigations to determine whether there is a reasonable indication that an industry in the US is materially injured or threatened with material injury, or the establishment of an industry in the US is materially retarded, by reason of imports of certain corrosion-resistant steel products from the Mainland of China that are alleged to be sold in the US at less than fair value and subsidised by the Government of the People's Republic of China. A copy of the FR notice is available at: http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2015-06-09/pdf/2015-14028.pdf.

2.Interested parties wishing to participate in the investigations should file an entry of appearance with ITC not later than seven days after publication of the FR notice. Written submissions should reach ITC on or before 29 June 2015. Besides, ITC has scheduled a conference in connection with the investigations on 24 June 2014 in which parties wishing to participate should contact ITC not later than 22 June 2014 to arrange for their appearance.
