Brazil : Antidumping Investigation against Acrylic Sheets from Hong Kong
The Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) of Brazil issued Circular No. 71/2013 on 18 November 2013 announcing the initiation of antidumping (AD) investigation against acrylic sheets classified under Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR1) Common Classification (NCM) code 3920.51.00 from Hong Kong and other economies. 2.Details of the AD investigation are set out below:

The MDIC has sent the producer/exporter questionnaire (in English, with 9 annexes) to identified producers/exporters. The questionaire is available at: http://www.mdic.gov.br/sitio/interna/interna.php?area=5& menu=4254&refr=3961. Concerned producers/exporters are strongly advised to complete the questionnaire and return it to the MDIC by 2 January 2014. Concerned producers/exporters may consider appointing a legal representative in Brazil within 20 days from the date of the gazette of the Circular (i.e. 18 November 2013) to assist in the communication with the MDIC concerning the investigation. The deadline of appointment would be 8 December 2013. |
