US : CPSC Revoked Certain Requirements on Caps Intended for Use with Toy Guns
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced in the Federal Register (FR) of 7 November 2013 a final rule revoking certain requirements pertaining to caps intended for use with toy guns and toy guns not intended for use with caps, which are now obsolete.
2.The ASTM International Standard F963, "Standard Consumer Safety Specifications for Toy Safety", which contains provisions regarding sound-producing toys, will be superseding the revoked regulations. This final rule will be effective 9 December 2013.
