Commercial Information Circular No. 830/2013

Colombia : Minimum Description Requirements on Import Declaration in Spanish

The Colombian government issued Resolution No. 25/2013 requiring import declarations for a broad range of products classified under the Colombian Harmonized System (HS) to include minimum description in Spanish. The minimum description requirement for different products is set out in Article 1 of the Resolution.

2.For details of the products involved, traders are advised to consult their importers in Colombia and/or the relevant Colombian Resolution (in Spanish) which is available at: http://www.mincit.gov.co/descargar.php?idFile=3970.
