US : FDA's Collection of Information Concerning Registration of Food Facilities; New FAQs Concerning Food Facility Registration

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued in the Federal Register (FR) of 22 January 2013 a notice requesting comments on a collection of information concerning food facility registration. Interested parties are invited to submit comments to the FDA by 25 March 2013.

DETAILS

2.FDA is inviting comments on the information collection provisions of its regulations that require registration for domestic and foreign facilities that manufacture, process, pack or hold food for human or animal consumption in the US. For details, please refer to the FR notice at:

3.Separately, FDA has updated its Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on food facility registration to include two new FAQs concerning the renewal process (i.e., IC.3.26 & 27). The FAQs are available at:
