Commercial Information Circular No. 793/2013

Mexico : Commercial Information Requirement for Packaging of Electric and Electronic Products Amended

The Mexican government has recently amended commercial information requirements for packaging, instructions and warranties of electric and electronic products and household appliances promulgated through standard NOM-024-SCFI-1998.

DETAILS

2. The new standard PROY-NOM-024-SCFI-2013 includes, among other things, a requirement for television reception apparatus that is not able to receive digital signals to include language stating that fact on the packaging.
