Chile : Amendment of Labelling Requirements for Packaged Food Products

The Chilean government issued Decree No. 126/2013 on 8 July 2013 to modify the labelling requirements for packaged food products as set out in paragraph 2 of Article 16 of Decree No. 297/1992. The label on packaged food products is required to include the name and address of the importer, and complies with the provisions in article 107(m) of Decree No. 977/1996.
