Commercial Information Circular No. 614/2013

Argentina : Accreditation Body for Toys and Childcare Articles

The Argentine government issued Decree No. 1/2013 and No. 167/2013 on 29 May 2013 and 4 June 2013 respectively to recognize one additional laboratory, IQC S.A., as an accreditation body for toys and childcare articles.

2. The Argentine government issued Resolution No. 163/2005 of 29 September 2005 to set out the safety requirements of toys, and Resolution No. 583/2008 of 4 June 2008 and No. 2/2011 of 7 January 2011 to establish the safety requirements for the manufacture, import, export, sale or free delivery of toys and childcare articles.
