Commercial Information Circular No. 611/2013

Chile : Low-voltage Electrical Conductors Certification Requirements Compliance Deadlines Extended

The Chilean government issued Exempt Resolution No. 1330/2013 on 29 May 2013 to extend the compliance deadlines of low-voltage electrical conductors certification requirements.

2.The Chilean government issued Exempt Resolution No. 960/2011 on 1 April 2011 to require importers, domestic manufacturers and sellers of low-voltage electrical conductors to obtain safety conformity certification. The effective date of the Exempt Resolution was 1 June 2013.

3.Exempt Resolution No. 1330/2013 of 29 May 2013 extended the abovementioned deadline for certification requirements as follows:
