Commercial Information Circular No. 610/2013

Chile : Home Theaters and Printers Certification Requirements Compliance Deadlines Advanced

The Chilean government issued Exempt Resolution No. 1309/2013 on 23 May 2013 to advance the compliance deadlines of home theaters and printers certification requirement to 27 December 2013.

2. The Chilean government issued Exempt Resolution No. 2478/2012 on 26 December 2012 to require importers, domestic manufacturers and sellers of home theaters and printers to obtain safety and energy efficiency conformity certification prior to sale. The effective date of the Exempt Resolution was 1 April 2014.

3. Exempt Resolution No. 1309/2013 of 23 May 2013 advanced the abovementioned deadline for certification requirements to 27 December 2013.
