US : Modification of Regulation Regarding the Extension of Time Limits in Anti-dumping and Countervailing Proceedings

The US Department of Commerce (DoC) issued in the Federal Register (FR) of 16 January 2013 a proposed rule modifying its regulation concerning the extension of time limits for submissions in anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) proceedings. Relevant FR notice is available at:

DETAILS

2.DoC proposes to modify 19 CFR 351.302, which provides for the extension of time limits for submissions in AD and CVD proceedings, and the return of untimely-filed or unsolicited material. The modification, if adopted, will clarify that parties may request an extension of time limits before any time limit established under Part 351 expires. The modification will also clarify under which circumstances DoC will consider untimely-filed requests for extension of time limits.

3.Interested parties may submit comments on the proposed rule to the DoC by 18 March 2013.
