Canada : Consultation on Canada's Food Safety System

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced in a news release of 2 July 2013 a consultation on Canada's food safety system.

DETAILS

2. CFIA is seeking comments from consumers and food industry stakeholders on three elements of the Safe Food for Canadians Action Plan, namely the compliance promotion initiative, the proposed new regulatory framework for federal food inspection, and the planned outcome-based approached to regulation and inspection.
