Commercial Information Circular No. 516/2013

Chile : LED Modules Used in Public Lighting and Tungsten Halogen Lamps Certification Requirements Compliance Deadlines Extended

The Chilean government requires LED modules and Tungsten halogen lamps to fulfill certain certification requirements by 1 April 2013. It subsequently issued Exempt Resolutions No. 709/2013 and 710/2013 in April 2013 to extend the compliance dates to 1 October 2013.

2.Affected products, their reference standards and the compliance deadlines are set out in the table below:
