Argentina : Implementation of the Electronic Customs Communication and Notification System

Argentina's Federal Administration of Public Revenue (AFIP) issued Resolution No. 3474 in March 2013 to implement the Electronic Customs Communication and Notification System (Sistema de Comunicación y Notificación Electrónica Aduanera, SICNEA) to send notifications and communicate with trade operators.

2. SICNEA is automatically assigned to certain trade operators, while others can apply for access by means of an electronically transmitted form.
