Dear Sirs,
Commercial Information Circular No. 275/2013
Mexico : Amendments to Updated List of Products Subject to Sanitary and Phytosanitary Requirements
Mexico's National Food Health, Safety and Quality Service (SENASICA) has amended certain provisions included in the updated list of products subject to sanitary and phytosanitary requirements.
DETAILS
2. The trade was informed via Commercial Information Circular No. 869/2012 of 26 October 2012 that the Mexican Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food has published an updated classification and codification of imports subject to its various sanitary and phytosanitary requirements. SENASICA under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food has since determined that it is appropriate to amend certain provisions included in the list in order to clarify the regulatory requirements for certain products containing milk or inputs of animal origin and exempt from the SENASICA regulations certain reagents for use in humans. For details, please refer to the relevant official notice (in Spanish) at http://dof.gob.mx/nota_detalle.php?codigo=5291041&fecha=11/03/2013.
