Commercial Information Circular No. 967/2012

Chile: Tariff Classification of Lamps with Light- Emitting Diodes

The Chilean government issued Circular No. 277/2012 on 22 October 2012 to clarify the tariff classificatin of lamps with light-emitting diode (LED), and conclude that such product should be classified under 8543.70.90 which is subject to a six percent (6%) tariff rate.
