Commercial Information Circular No. 865/2012

Argentina : Modification of Advance Sworn Declaration Requirement for Certain Printed Products

The trade was informed via Commercial Information Circular No. 281/2012 of 17 April 2012 that the Argentine government has temporarily suspended the certification requirements for certain printed products and required the submission of a sworn declaration instead. The Argentine government issued a Decree No. 38/2012 on 14 September 2012 to exclude from the certification requirements printed materials intended to be distributed and/or used in trade fairs, exhibitions and other events designated by the Ministry of Tourism as being of tourist interest. Such products will be subject to a sworn declaration.
