Canada : Elimination of Tariffs on Certain Products
The Canadian Department of Finance (DoF) published in the Canada Gazette Part II (Vol. 146, No.21) of 10 October 2012 an "Order Amending the Schedule to the Customs Tariff, 2012-1 and a Related Order" (the Order).
DETAILS
2. The Order eliminates/reduces the most-favoured-nation (MFN) rate of customs duty on certain palm oil flakes for use in the manufacture of food products; certain trays designed to hold discs for use in the manufacture of CD or DVD cases; certain fabric shells for use in the manufacture of duvets, comforters, featherbeds cushions or pillows (bed linens); certain crossing pieces for use with grooved or girder guard rail; and certain chassis and motors for use in the manufacture of ambulances. It also amends the description of goods of certain tariff items.
