Canada : Anti-dumping and Countervailing Actions against Certain Steel Piling Pipe from the Mainland of China: Preliminary Determinations
On 2 August 2012, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) made preliminary determinations of dumping and subsidising in respect of certain steel piling pipe originating in or exported from the Mainland of China. The estimated margins of dumping were found to be in the range of 78.4%-96.2%, whereas the estimated amounts of subsidy in the range of 8.2%-13.9%. A copy (pdf format) of CBSA's announcement for the determinations is appended to this circular for reference.
2.n about these investigations is contained in a Statement of Reasons, which will be available on 17 August 2012 on the CBSA's website at http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/sima-lmsi. The CBSA will make its final determinations on 31 October 2012.
