US : Consumer Product Safety Commission: Revisions to Safety Standards for Infant Bath Seats and Full-Size Cribs
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued in the Federal Register (FR) of 31 July 2012 a direct final rule which revises its standards for infant bath seats and full-size cribs. The FR notice is available at: http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2012-07-31/pdf/2012-18483.pdf.
DETAILS
2. The direct final rule revises the CPSC's standards for infant bath seats and full-size cribs to incorporate by reference more recent versions of the applicable standards (i.e., ASTM F1967-11a and ASTM F1169-11 respectively) promulgated by the American Society for Testing and Materials International (ASTM International). The rule is effective on 12 November 2012, unless CPSC receives significant adverse comment by 30 August 2012.
