Colombia : Re-establishment of Import Tariffs on Various Products
The trade was informed via Commercial Information Circular No. 605/2011 of 4 October 2011 that the Colombian Government has reduced the import tariffs of certain products classified under the Colombian Harmonized System (HS) code chapters 25, 28, 29, 31, 32, 34, 38-41, 44, 48, 52, 55, 56, 58, 59, 64, 68-70, 72, 73, 76, 82, 84, 85, 90 and 91, and certain vehicles classified under HS code 8708.99.2100 to zero percent (0%) until 11 August 2012. The Colombian Government issued Decree No. 765/2012 and No. 882/2012 on 17 April 2012 and 30 April 2012 to re-establish import tariff of certain products. Details are set out in Articles 1 and 2 of Decree No. 765/2012 and the table below:
