US : Energy Conservation Program: Energy Conservation Standards for Residential Dishwashers
The US Department of Energy (DoE) published in the Federal Register (FR) of 30 May 2012 a direct final rule amending the energy conservation standards for residential dishwashers. Relevant FR notice is available at: http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2012-05-30/pdf/2012-12340.pdf.
DETAILS
2.The amended standards for the subject products, which are established in terms of maximum annual energy use and maximum per-cycle water consumption, are shown in Table I.1 of the above-mentioned FR notice.
3.The effective date of the direct final rule is 27 September 2012 unless adverse comment is received by 17 September 2012. If no adverse comment is received, compliance with the amended standards for residential dishwashers will be required on 30 May 2013.
