Dear Sirs,
Commercial Information Circular No. 701/2011
US : Energy Conservation Program: Energy Conservation Standards for Fluorescent Lamp Ballasts
The US Department of Energy (DoE) issued in the Federal Register (FR) of 14 November 2011 a final rule to adopt new and amended federal energy conservation standards for fluorescent lamp ballasts. It has determined that the new and amended energy conservation standards for these products would result in significant conservation of energy, and are technologically feasible and economically justified. The final rule will be effective from 13 January 2012. Compliance with the new and amended standards established for fluorescent lamp ballasts is required as of 14 November 2014. The FR notice is available at: http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2011-11-14/pdf/2011-28451.pdf.
