Mexico : Anti-dumping Action Against Denim from the Mainland of China

The Mexican Ministry of Economy (MoE) announced in the Official Gazette notice (the Gazette notice) of 21 April 2010 the initiation of anti-dumping duty investigation on imports of denim, classified under subheadings 5209.42.01, 5209.42.99, 5211.42.01 and 5211.42.99 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of Mexico, from the Mainland of China.   1. According to the Gazette notice, the MoE will send an official notice and a questionnaire to the parties concerned. The questionnaire is due 28 working days after publication of the Gazette notice. Other interested parties wishing to participate in this investigation will have 23 working days to submit the questionnaire, arguments and evidence to the MoE. The questionnaire is available at the website of the MoE at
    http://www.economia.gob.mx. Also, the MoE will hold a public hearing in connection with this investigation on 30 November 2010.

The Bureau is responsible for, among others, conducting anti-dumping investigations, and guiding and coordinating enterprises in the Guangdong province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the Guangdong Province.
