Information Circular No. 375/2007 US
: Anti-dumping Action against Polyethylene Terephthalate Film, Sheet, and Strip from the Mainland of China: Institution of Investigation and Scheduling of Preliminary Phase Investigation
The US International Trade Commission (ITC) announced in the Federal Register (FR) notice of 5 October 2007 the institution of investigation and commencement of preliminary phase investigation to determine whether there was reasonable indication that an industry in the US was materially injured or threatened with material injury, or the establishment of an industry in the US was materially retarded, by reason of imports of polyethylene terephthalate film, sheet, and strip from the Mainland of China that were alleged to be sold in the US at less than fair value.

Interested parties wishing to participate in the investigation should file an entry of appearance with ITC not later than seven days after publication of the FR notice. Written submissions should reach ITC on or before 24 October 2007. Besides, ITC has scheduled a conference in connection with the investigation on 19 October 2007 in which parties wishing to participate should contact ITC not later than 16 October 2007 to arrange for their appearance.
