US : "Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism" (C-TPAT)
¡V C-TPAT Security Guidelines
The US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has recently issued and uploaded onto its website the "C-TPAT Security Guidelines" for the following C-TPAT participant categories:
- air carriers;
- air freight consolidators, ocean transportation intermediaries and non-vessel operating common carriers;
- licensed US customs brokers;
- manufacturers;
- rails carriers; and
- US marine or port terminal operators.
The Security Guidelines are available at the CBP's website:
http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/import/commercial_enforcement/ctpat/security_guideline/.
Traders are advised to visit its website from time to time for the up-to-date information concerning C-TPAT.
