US : FDA Issues Compliance Policy Guide on Food
 Facilities Registration Requirement

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 309/2003 dated 18 December 2003, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued another compliance policy guide on food facilities registration requirement (see also the one on prior notice requirement of imported food vide CIC No. 303/2003 dated 12 December 2003). This guidance document sets out the FDA's policy and regulatory actions for instances when food facilities fail to properly register as required by the Bioterrorism Act.
