USA:Business Guide on Labeling Requirements
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), in partnership with the American Apparel Manufacturers Association has published a new business guide explaining labeling requirements for textile and wool products. The guide "Threading Your Way Through the Labeling Requirements under the Textile and Wool Acts" provides up-to-date information about the three basic labeling requirements under the US federal law - fibre content, country of origin and manufacturer or dealer identity. A brief account of the new business guide is contained in the press release appended (pdf format) to this circular for reference.
