Dear Sirs,

This is to inform you that the registration of your company under the Ozone Layer Protection Ordinance (Cap. 403) will expire on 31 December 2005. If you are interested in renewing your registration for the period 1 January 2006 to 31 December 2007, please complete and return the following documents in support of your application to the Non-Textiles Licensing Unit, Trade and Industry Department, 12/F, Trade and Industry Department Tower, 700 Nathan Road, Kowloon :

1. Two copies of duly completed Registration Form (TID 90);
   

2. Three copies of duly completed Registration Card (TID 56);
   

3. A photocopy of valid Business Registration Certificate;
   

4. For a limited company, a certified true copy of the latest Annual Return showing all the directors from the Companies Registry (located on 13/F, Queensway Government Offices, 66 Queensway, Hong Kong; Tel. No. : 2867 2571) or the latest Annual Return showing all the directors certified by either a Certified Public Accountant or a Solicitor;
   

5. For sole proprietorship or partnership, a certified true copy of the Business Registration Application from the Business Registration Office, Inland Revenue Department (located on 4/F, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Hong Kong; Tel. No. : 187 8088).

2. Completed registration forms, registration cards and supporting documents should be returned in person or by registered post to the Non-Textiles Licensing Unit on or before 21 November 2005. Failure to lodge your application before the deadline will cause delay in processing your application and in such case the Department may not be able to approve your application before the commencement of the next control period on 1 January 2006.
   
   

3. A written notification will be mailed to the successful applicants, who should make payment for the registration fee within 14 days from the date of the notification. Registrants will be issued a Certificate of Registration by mail upon receipt of the payment.
   

Warning

4. Companies registered under the Ozone Layer Protection Ordinance must comply with the conditions of registration at Annex (pdf format). Contravention of any of the conditions of registration is an offence punishable by a fine of HK$25,000.
