Introduction
of Revised Import Licence Form 3 (TRA 187)
and Export Licence Form 6 (TRA 394)
This circular informs
traders of the introduction of revised Import Licence Form 3 (TRA 187)
and Export Licence Form 6 (TRA 394) for non-textile products.
Revised
Licence Forms
- As from 1 March
2007, revised Form 3 (TRA 187) (Rev. 2007) and Form 6 (TRA 394) (Rev.
2007) will be introduced and available for sale at the Collection
and Form Sales Office on 1/F, Trade and Industry Department Tower,
700 Nathan Road, Kowloon. The prices of both licence forms will remain
the same, that is, HK$26 per pad or HK$3 per set for Import Licence
Form 3, and HK$16 per pad or HK$3 per set for Export Licence Form
6.
Transitional
Arrangements
- The Trade and
Industry Department ("the Department") will accept licence
applications made using the new application forms since 1 March 2007.
To enable traders to use up their existing stock in hand, traders
may continue to apply licence applications for non-textile products
using Import Licence Form 3 (Rev. 2003) and Export Licence Form 6
(Rev. 2003) until 31 August 2007. With effect from 1
September 2007, the Department will only accept licence applications
submitted in the new application forms.
Reminder
and Enquiry
- Opportunity
is taken to remind traders to avoid stocking up forms, which may be
subject to frequent revisions due to changes in import/export regulations
or rules.
