SME Seminar on Retail Business
in the Mainland under CEPA

The Trade and Industry Department's Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs
(SUCCESS), Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong of the Government
of HKSAR (HKGDETO) and Junior Chamber International Hong Kong (JCI) will jointly
hold a seminar on "Retail Business in the Mainland under CEPA".
Interested parties are
welcome to attend the seminar on June 17 (Thursday) from 2.30 pm to 5 pm at
the Lecture Theatre, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay,
Hong Kong (Tin Hau MTR Station Exit B).
Speakers will explain about
how CEPA is related to retail business in the Mainland and how to start up a
retail business there. Also, they will brief the audience on the latest business
environment in Zhongshan, the retail market situations of gifts and premium
as well as cosmetics and beauty products in the Mainland.
Speakers will include representatives
from: Zhongshan Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau; the Youth Entrepreneur
Association of Zhongshan; Trend Gallery; and Cinderella Cosmetics Ltd.
Besides, SUCCESS, HKGDETO
and JCI will join hands to organise a study tour to Guangzhou to learn more
about retail business in the Mainland under CEPA in early July. Registration
and other details will be announced later.
The seminar will be conducted
in Cantonese. Admission is free. Interested parties are requested to register
with the Trade and Industry Department as seats will be allocated on a first-come-first-served
