The Government announces the details for implementing the "Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement" (CEPA) Trade in goods from 1 January 2004

The Trade and Industry Department (TID) announces today (14 November) two measures in connection with the implementation of the CEPA Trade in Goods from 1 January 2004. The measures include the application procedures and conditions of issue of the Certificate of Hong Kong Origin-CEPA, and the arrangement for Hong Kong manufacturers to make requests in 2004 for implementation of the next phase of zero tariff for imported goods of Hong Kong origin by the Mainland.
