SMEs
are welcome to attend the seminar on "SMEs and Credit Scoring

Small and Medium
Enterprises (SMEs) which wish to know more about credit scoring are invited
to attend a seminar jointly organised by the Support and Consultation
Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade & Industry Department and Hong
Kong Productivity Council's SME Centre on March 20.
The
seminar will begin at 2.30 pm and last till 5 pm at the Exhibition Hall,
4/F, HKPC Building, 78 Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon (MTR Kowloon Tong Station
Exit C1).
The seminar aims
to introduce to SMEs the concept of credit scoring, let them know where
to seek expert advice on credit scoring, and explain to them how credit
scoring could facilitate lending institutions to make decisions on loan
applications, and businesses to assess the prospects of potential partners.
Mr
Raymond Li, Executive Director, Banking Development Department of the
Hong Kong Monetary Authority will brief participants on the progress of
the establishment of the Commercial Credit Reference Agency, and its modus
operandi.
Ms
Tracy Sun, Regional Director of Marketing & Business Development,
Dun & Bradstreet - Greater China Region, will speak on business
credit management. Mr Tony
Wan, Manager - Scoring & Decision Support System, Asia Pacific
Product Management, Dun & Bradstreet Asia Pacific, will speak on how
credit scoring could facilitate lending institutions and business partners
assess the financial well-being and prospect of SMEs.
Mr
Anson Kwok, Head of Sales, CitiBusiness - Citibank, will explain how
lending institutions make use of credit scoring in assessing loan applications.
The seminar will
be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free of charge. Interested parties
